What You Need To Know

Ordinarily completed on-site at your school, we've digitised the session to allow access to those students participating in remote online learning.
Here's an overview of what you need to know:

1. The session is ran entirely online, but is ran live with your students. We use Zoom webinar to run the session, but can also use Google Meet or Microsoft Teams.

2. It is an interactive session, with >25 exam-style polling questions for students to complete throughout, as well as live Q&A where students can type questions and get live answers.

3. The session will cover every dot point of the U3 AOS1 study design. 

4. The session itself runs for 90 minutes, give or take a bit pending your availability.

5. We use a lecture-style PowerPoint format to run this revision session.
After the session, students receive access to our 53-minute biomechanics video which shows Luke practically linking the following biomechanics principles to the theory:
  • ​Kinematic principles shown using timing gates and accelerometers including distance/displacement, speed/velocity, and acceleration (positive/negative);
  • Newton's 3 laws explained using timing gates;
  • ​Balance and stability using a force plate;
  • ​Impulse and momentum using a portable force plate;
  • ​Summation of momentum using shotput and baseball as the example, and using a seismic accelerator to demonstrate momentum transfer;
  • ​Angular momentum using the frictionless rotating platform;
  • ​Levers using the human body, golf, cricket, and hockey as examples of how to manipulate lever length for optimal performance;
  • Projectile motion.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does your service cost?
Our base price is $597 excl GST, which covers up to 20 students. Add an additional $20/student for numbers 21 and above.
The price for 15 students, for example, would be $597 (the base price), the price for 20 would be $597 (the base price), and the price for 25 would be $697 ($597 base price + 5 extra students @ $20 each). Prices are exclusive of GST
I only have a small class. What are my options?
Join up with another school which has a small class and complete the session together to get closer towards 20 students. We can split invoices however you like.
Will I receive a recording of the session?
No, but you will receive 4.5 hours of unit revision videos and a 53 minute practical biomechanics video.
My class only runs for 60 or 75 minutes, can we still run this session?
Yes.
When will I receive the bonuses?
The day of your scheduled session by default, however you can contact us in advance if you'd like them earlier. 
How do you take payment?
We'll send you an invoice upon your booking being accepted.
